Wild River Kitchen worker will be cooking high quality scratch menu items in a fast paced high volume restaurant. Kitchen workers will be using all types of standard restaurant kitchen equipment including but not limited to: sharp knives, hot ovens & stove tops, power food processing equipment, deep fryers, and other equipment as needed. Kitchen workers will follow specific recipes with regards to procedures, weights, and measures. Kitchen workers will report for shifts at various and changing times and work various and changing lengths of shifts.


Wild River Kitchen workers will efficiently and effectively produce a high quality menu for our customers. Kitchen workers will be expected to keep a clean, safe, and healthy working environment both for our guest and coworkers. Kitchen workers will be setting up their respective areas for each shift, prepping and preparing recipes, cooking and plating menu items to order, cleaning, and restocking stations for the next shift. All employees will be required to be on time for their scheduled shift properly dressed, nourished, and prepared to work their full shift. Wild River strives to always present a clean pressed look to our customers and all employees work in an open kitchen, clean, neat, well-presented, kitchen staff is mandatory and applicants will be judged in part by their personal presentation. Kitchen workers will be expected to be flexible and adaptive to other task requests by coworkers and supervisors. Particular job functions, duties and responsibilities will vary. . 


Kitchen workers must have previous successful professional kitchen experience. Kitchen workers must be neat, clean and well presented. Wild River maintains open kitchen working areas and therefore applicants will be partially judged on their appearance. All kitchen workers will be required to be able lift and carry up to 30 pounds continuously and up to and over 50 pounds occasionally. Long periods of standing, walking, and maneuvering are required. All positions must be able to read, write, and comprehend complex recipes and instructions. All position must be able memorize procedures and recipes in order to produce high quality consistent menu items. All employees are required to be on time for scheduled shifts ready and able to work their full shift. Employees must arrive rested, nourished and dressed appropriately for their position.
